Editing Services
Editing develops and refines messages to improve readability and help obtain the desired result. Small businesses, corporations, and individuals can benefit from an experienced editor's help on almost any project.
When it comes to books, articles, websites, or anything else in writing, an editor can clarify your message, allowing you to communicate more effectively, and improve your chances of achieving what you desire (whether what you desire is publication, or to spur people to take action and purchase your product or service, or to award you that grant money).
When it comes to websites, you need an editor: One study by IBM involving an A/B test comparing edited and unedited web pages showed a 30 percent improvement on the desired call to action across the board for the edited pages.
When it comes to editors, you need me: After studying writing and editing, I spent more than ten years as managing editor at a legal and business books publishing house; more than three years in marketing and copywriting with a large e-retailer; and have done freelance writing and editing for various businesses and individuals for more than a decade. This experience has made me capable of handling any writing or editing project you bring my way.

I have spent time writing web copy for ecommerce sites, and doing search engine marketing and optimization for different e-tailers.

I have written and had published many features, short stories, and business articles, and two how-to books. I have edited hundreds of articles and books.

I am educated and experienced in writing and editing and I make my living this way; I am not merely a hobbyist who likes to write, although I do love to write and edit. I have spent years working as an in-house marketing specialist, copywriter, and book editor, and as a freelance writer and editor. I have worked on projects of different sizes, spanning diverse topics and industries. My experience benefits my clients: small businesses, nonprofits, corporations, and individuals.
